Inside the machine: development team begins pre-launch push

After months of blood, sweat and tears, RECHORD.XYZ is well on course for launch in February 2022 as our dev team enters the final sprint.

With our core tech players securely locked into the development bunker and all leave cancelled, the last few months have been marked by rapid progress as we’ve progressed towards the planned mark 1.0 product. Some of us will never be the same again, but we’re locked, loaded and working through the final tweaks ahead of unveiling our launch MVP.

The list is a long one, but the highlights include:

  • Refined “analogue” UX to enable recording, tuning & mastering with your thumb
  • Looping, trimming and autotune toolkit
  • Automatic pitch identification
  • Pre loaded tuning packs allowing one-touch EQ & effects
  • Stereo mix output
  • Sharing finished files to socials and cloud storage services
  • In-app community functions (expected late Q1 2022)

Of course the journey doesn’t end there – it’s only just beginning. After launch we have a long list of new features and capabilities loaded into the hopper and ready for deployment, not to mention the tweaks, upgrades and additions we expect our community of creatives to ask for as they finally get their hands on the app and start rooting around under the hood …

Slide another pizza under the door and stay tuned – we’ll emerge blinking into daylight very, very soon.
